Ok, I know this sort of post is like torture to those of us who can’t afford a pizza let alone new software, but I have to have some outlet.
Here is my shopping list for my new home studio:
1. Reason 4
2. MOTU: Digital Performer, Symphonic Instrument, 828mk3
3. Final Cut Studio 2
4. Apple iMac or the latest Mac Pro….can’t decide.
So, that’s it, it only comes to around $10,000 or so…but who’s counting?
Welcome to my new home at WordPress.com. I like the layouts much better, and I think the interface is more friendly. Nothing against Blogspot, but it wasn’t working for me.
Hopefully, I will be better about posting here, and more comfortable with blogging. I am looking at this blog as being a personal monthly look into my coming and goings. From reading through my earlier entries, there really isn’t a focus, just a prolonged ramble. I guess I can live with that.
I am just going to make this short. I have not posted anything in alost a year. In that time, I have made many changes in my life, including starting a new job as a band director in Tacoma, WA. I also took the Prnicpal Percussion position in the Olympia Symphony.
This blog will become the private face of my blog-o-sphere persona. The public one will be represented by my other blog “Bandguys”. This other blog is administered by myself and my friend Mike Lewis who is another band director in the South Puget Sound area. That blog will focus on my struggles and accomplishments as a new band director. This one will focus on everything else.
